No puppies But....

Lori bought this great Maggie X Romus pup from us in October and is thinking he is a little to much for her.  She wants to Foster this guy she calls RV until he finds his new forever family.

 I think he would be a great pup for anyone.  She would like to see him be on more of a farm/large lot type setting or maybe a hunter since his hunting instincts are strong.  She is being more than fair on the cost he would be a wonderful pet.  I feel bad he wasn't a good match for her.  When we had him with us he was the most gentle pup we had.

Below is a note from Lori and what she says about RV

I bought this beautiful boy in mid-October from Pitts Rats at 4-1/2 months old.  He's 62.98% Decker.  I didn't really know very much about the breed.  After bringing him home I started to realize that, at age 67, with a fairly sedate lifestyle, he couldn't become the dog he is meant to be if he lived with me.  True to his breeding, he stalks birds, shakes pieces of moss to death, and can run faster than a speeding bullet.  I can see now that he needs more space than a city lot, needs to be able to use his Decker instincts, and needs a new family that can provide those things.

He's loving, smart as a whip, is housebroken, is progressing well in his "basic training," and heels well on leash.  He's had to learn a lot about the big, wide world in the three weeks I've had him and is learning socialization skills daily.  He likes to ride in the car but hasn't worked up to being left there for very long.  He's due to be neutered 11/19 and has had his puppy shots.

He was born into a family with children but is a little uneasy with cats.  Properly introduced, I think he would do fine.
